Pros: This is by far the best HRIS system I have used. It is easy to navigate for both administrators and employees. It interfaces with our recruiting and accounting software. Reporting capabilities are amazing. Thank you for such a user friendly product!
Cons: Reaching Customer Service can be time consuming, but they are helpful once you can get to a live person.
Overall: Overall, I would highly recommend the product. HR and Payroll are a breeze to administrate! Work out the kinks with Customer Service and it would check all the boxes!

Pros: This product handles most HR needs. This is great for our company since we are lean and adding an entire role just for HR is a tough call.
Cons: The product is expensive and the customer service is very hit or miss.
Overall: Overall, I'd say that this product works well for most HR needs for a small business. I do wish they still had dedicated reps for our business though.

Pros: UX Interface and web page design, relatively low price, no issues with pages crashing or server system errors or outages.
Cons: Customer Service? [Crickets]
I was very happy with Zenefits... until I needed something. If you're a small company looking to implement your new HR system, and your budget is tight so you can't afford a larger platform, Zenefits is NOT FOR YOU, I suggest you wait until you can pay for a more reliable partner.
Everything will be fine until inevitably, an issue arises and you need customer support. Then, you'll pay the price for being a small business. We small businesses have small teams wearing many hats, and therefore we need great partners. Partners that are going to take us by the hand and respond promptly with solutions. Do not expect a fast response from customer service. Do not expect your response to be good once you receive it weeks or months later. All the contrary, they've just made it harder for you to contact customer service in the first place.
I still have tickets open from last January or February and I've got 2 "responses", both saying that my tickets were assigned to a specialist and that they'll be contacting me. Never happened. Too bad I had just renewed for another year.
Again, if you need help, look elsewhere.Overall: Not worth the risk. You will need customer service at some point and will be regretting your decision. The system in general will do the minimum but the features are too basic, and the reporting is horrible. The integration with QuickBooks unusable for real mapping and labor/project expense tracking. Not a good format for data manipulation.

Pros: We have used TriNet for a few years now. We switched from ADP, and we love it. The interface is super user friendly, dashboard gives you a good idea on where you are standing with your payroll, and even phone app is very simple to use. I really like the reporting tool as compared to other payroll admins.
Cons: Live phone customer service reps would be great. However, email support is pretty quick to respond. Every time when I reach out to customer service, the staff are very well trained and knowledgeable.

Pros: The level of integration and ease of use on the user end makes this a great solution for any employee. Our employees given a stress-free experience starting from day one, with an intuitive onboarding process, and an easy to manage portal for their day-to-day HR needs.
Cons: If you're using TriNet as a payroll provider, the level of customization is somewhat limited. However, customer service has always been helpful to the needs of our business and new features are constantly coming out.
Overall: TriNet has really changed the way HR is done for our school. We are able to handle a professional level of HR services with very limited time on a day-to-day basis. It has really helped to automate the way we do benefits enrollment, employee time & attendance (which flows right into payroll), managing PTO, and the employee onboarding process is so easy to do for both the employee and employer.

Pros: We are utilizing the platform for onboarding paperwork, background checks, etc. mostly, but we also utilize the org chart feature which is extremely helpful for new and old staff to reference. The platform itself is extremely user-friendly. There are templates preloaded for different employee types so you have a really great starting point for onboarding new staff. The org chart helps simplify staffing and is a great resource for not only new hires, but existing staff as well. When onboarding a new hire, it takes care of all the necessary forms, background checks and alerts you when an employee has passed each step. I would highly recommend Zenefits for a busy company looking to simplify its hiring process. The training resources available on the system were in my day 1 todo and are very helpful.
Cons: I don't have many things to say against the platform. When I first started using it in in 2019, the mobile app was a bit difficult to use, especially when viewing documents as they would get cut off, but it would appear that the company has fixed this issue as I do not have this any longer.
Overall: Overall, myself and our organization are thoroughly satisfied with the product and I would highly recommend growing organizations check it out!

Cons: Zenefits reporting could be a bit more intuitive and I would like to see them incorporate device management/onboarding like Rippling.

Pros: This software allows you to easily organize employee onboarding and allows employees to self manage any changes that need to be made from an HR prospective such as taxes, direct deposit info, etc and it links in directly with QuickBooks so it can communicate all of this information easily without intervention.
Cons: Zenefits used to offer a free version of their software and if you wanted then you could use their employee health insurance options and background check options which of course they made money off of until one day that they decided that they were going to phase out the free program and hold businesses HR information hostage, they were wanting to charge $6 per employee account for something we had been getting for free which would have amounted to costing our company nearly $400 per month.
Overall: The platform itself is great, but the amount they are charging for it is questionable if you are getting enough return value because it is not that frequent that an employee will go in and make changes to taxes, direct deposit info, etc. Ultimately, for our organization we have developed our own internal HR management software after they decided to start charging monthly for their platform, but Zenefits may be a good choice if you don't have the ability/resources to do that.

Pros: Easy to use dashboard, all encompassing HR and payroll services. On top of that, very affordable, which is great for a small business like mine.
Cons: There was a recent update to the system that required some getting used to as far as the dashboard layout and how to get reports. But after that, it has been smooth sailing.
Overall: Having been using one of the big giants for payroll in the past, we were a little nervous going with a newer small company that completely cloud based. I can tell that the last four years have been fine, and we haven't looked back.

Cons: Customer support could be better; there used to be a premium package but wait times have been long.
Overall: We signed our contract with Zenefits in December 2017 and were up-and-running in time for the first payroll of 2018. The tool is fantastic. In addition to consolidating and digitizing multiple HR process the mobile nature and user-friendly format makes for a good experience by the end-user and the back office.

Pros: All our HR "stuff" is in one place, easy to access, fast to use and saves us so much time. We had to wrangle so much information and forms previously and now we can access everything from our Zenefits dashboard. Fantastic!
Cons: I don't have any cons - I do think it would be cool to integrate an org chart building tool.
Overall: Has streamlined our virtual business immensely. Our processes used to feel very convoluted and now everything is quick and painless and the transition was effortless!

Pros: Zenefits has been extremely helpful for our small Business. We recently switched to Zenefits from another provider and are super impressed with the platform. As a small business, we certainly benefit from having Zenefits as a platform that can do it all. Not only are we able to get everything done in the same place, but it's extremely simple and quick. Zenefits also has great online resources that help answer all my questions, which make it so that I rarely have to call their customer service. When I do call though, the representatives are super pleasant and quick to respond to any questions, which is great.
Cons: While we're pretty new to Zenefits, we have not discovered anything we dislike about the software. Everything from the customer service to the platform itself has exceeded our expectations!
Overall: Overall I highly recommend Zenefits for any business large or small, they are great! The resources provided on a variety of topics are super helpful to our small business.
