Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros They have amazing support and respond far quickly than big Networking conglomerates. Easy to use Interface and support for almost every type of backup. You can quickly back up from a single point without looking for a wide variety of brand-independent solutions. Open to new developments, easily updated, customizable. Simple product but does its job as expected. It's a bundle containing operations, backup, automation, compliance, and governance and also solving secure remote access. The price is fair. It supports legacy and cloud infrastructure. We have been using for hybrid environment without any issues. Lots of device supported. Nearly every version of devices is supported. Product support is agile and eager to solve all the problems. Intellicheck is massive. Lots of signatures and checks in the Intellicheck. It is a perfect match for our disaster recovery scenarios. The price is low but the value of the product is high. Technical support is awesome. It has a vast array of integration. Even if there's no already built-in integration, technical support assists for the new device type or model. Automation is already inside the product. I like the dashboard, very simple and shows the highlist. I can assign anybody to watch over the backbox solution. There's no need for special training. It supports distributed deployment where we're deploying regional collectors to get the data. Intellichecks has lots of checks built-in coming with the product. We have lots of cases where we need to roll back or restore, Backbox built-in these tasks without any problem. Upgrades or fixes through the Backbox is simple, one click and done. Cons The logs are not always properly readable. And troubleshooting yourself is an issue. However the support team ensures that the resolution is swift and quick. We did not see any serious shortcomings. The lack of documentation in the first versions has been fixed. Integration with other products is not straightforward. There's no direct integration with Jira, CMDB, or ServiceNow. You need to write some coding to make this integration working. Reporting lacks. Intellicheck signatures are updated within the releases not through a real-time update. There's no real-time check-monitoring option available. The product does not have AI or ML inside. Manual tasks are somehow interesting, tasks/scripts are defined from the operational perspective, they're not APIs. Main drawback, It's not a real-time product for monitoring. You should give time schedules, especially for checks and automation. There's no incident management inside the product. I can't assign a task or job to a team member. It's a problem especially for the intellichecks. I need to assign the check output for one of my team member follow-up. Notifications are somehow bulky. Reports also are very legacy look and not modern compared to other products. There are lots of intellichecks available. We need to modify some checks before running to get the best results. Siem integration is not straight forward.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Domotz excels in onboarding. You can go from installation to full network scan within minutes. The agent can be deployed on various platforms (Windows, Linux, Raspberry Pi, NAS devices), and its plug-and-play nature means minimal configuration is required. 2. Clean UI: The user interface is modern, uncluttered, and responsive. Navigation is straightforward, with well-labeled menus and real-time dashboards. Devices are auto-discovered and categorized neatly, making it easy to locate and manage endpoints. 3. Mobile Access: Domotz's mobile app (iOS and Android) mirrors the web interface’s usability. You can perform essential tasks like rebooting devices, checking performance, or receiving alerts from anywhere, making remote management seamless. Incredible product, device simple to install, One place to see all my managed systems, Used daily for monitoring, deployed in seconds, customer service response was faster than expected and answer was actually understandable. Thanks again Domotz! As an MSP we utilize Domotz to discover and monitor customer infrastructure. Domotz has made it so easy to do this for us. We have a quick deployment that saves us and our customers cost, while providing integration for alerts, ticketing, and monitoring tools. They value their partners and are always willing to engage. We monitor Meraki and Unifi networks, switches, firewalls, access points, integrating these monitors into tickets in Autotask. The simplest implementation I've seen. User-friendly and intuitive interface. Excellent functionality for network monitoring and control. The best support I've worked with Domotz helps me to instantly identify when a new device has joined my network. Equally importantly, it notifies me if an existing device drops off, which helps me identify potential network issues. Cons There are some simple features that should be implemented already , such as devices grouped by or TAG According the customer service these features will be deployed in September I wish I started using this product sooner in my workplace. When we had setup issues, the team was able to connect with us and resolve any issues. All is fine. I can't even minimally note anything. Multiple NIC devices like NAS units are a bit more challenging to configure. But otherwise, it is simple!
