Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros APS and Always Best Care work together to make sure our employees are taken care of. Our administrative staff loves working with the APS interface and software and their customer service is outstanding! The team is very responsive to questions. The time keeping is easy for employees. The videos and articles about APS system and use is very informative. When we searched for an HRIS for our medical specialty practice, we needed something that was user-friendly, handled payroll, recruitment, HR basics and timekeeping. Many others had this and a lot more--some too much. APS was the perfect fit. A very user-friendly interface for staff and HR/Payroll team. Pleasing layout with a very logical flow. Customer service has been top-notch and very responsive to our needs. I mostly love the support team approach which gives me a more personal experience when issues arise. They are up to date on all HR related topics and even proactive with solutions and upgrades. The customer service team is phenomenal—kind, considerate, thorough, knowledgeable, and possesses incredible follow-up and follow-through. They are constantly innovating intuitive solutions based on the end users' experience. Employee experience is exceptionally user-friendly. It's so easy! I like that it is an all-in-one solution for payroll, HR, benefits, and onboarding. This system has a ton of capability and is very customizable. Cons The pricing is fair, and as always - you get what you pay for. So even though there are cheaper options out there, I will stay with APS! From our experience when you terminate and employee from APS you have to make sure you have paid them their last pay. Termination kicks them out of payroll. There isn't much I don't like--if I had to point one out is the fact that for salaried individuals, once you activate their HR record and input the salary, it will pay them on the next payroll run, even if their start date has not been reached. I circumvent this by leaving the salary blank until the payroll it's supposed to start in. The number of articles given when I submit a help ticket. Small annoyance. Everything is very manual, with not much in terms of automated flows. A lot of changes have to be made individually for each employee rather than group actions.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros I am very pleased with the ability to either manually enter timesheet hours or ask employees to clock in and out. Having all employee data in one place is an excellent resources, and I look forward to utilizing the benefits management portion of the platform to further streamline our onboarding process. Creating custom reports that can aggregate the needed data in one spreadsheet in minutes is also a feature I use regularly for many different HR tasks. GoCo has a sleek, easy to use interface. We get compliments often about how easy and straightforward GoCo has made the onboarding process, which makes a great first impression on new employees who are just joining our agency! It also has vastly cut down on the administrative burden of scanning and filing paperwork into employee personnel files. I like that all our on boarding processes are digital, organized, and user friendly. I really like how easy it is to start my hiring process. GoCo, an easy to use HRIS system, has allowed our employees to have a seamless onboard experience. So many previously antiquated tasks are now easy to accomplish. The interface is user friendly. Customer service is incredible. Always making improvements - I feel like my suggestions/feedback are heard. Cons The time off scheduling is difficult to manage with prorated part-time employees, as we have to create a new time off classification for each amount, whether they work 20 hours, 24 hours, 30 hours, or so on. We have a lot of part time personnel and this has made using the time off feature both time consuming and frustrating. Inability to edit benefit information as it changes (we switched dental plans mid-year and could not input this from the employer side at all), and also inability to find our carriers in the system, has made implementing benefits administration difficult. It is a little high priced for our non-profit budget. Some of the forms are not complete are can't be signed. Like the background check authorization. There is no field for my employees to sign. It's also a little clunky for the I-9 verification process. For instance, when the employees provide their social security card and ID in one area, I have to download and upload myself. The system is not aware that the documents have already been provided? As an HR admin, there is a lot to learn. Integration with payroll has been challenging, based on how we need to track employee hours for invoicing and billing, but this may be an anomaly of our company. There are a few things that don't integrate well with other products.
