God Tier- Made an account just to rate this 5 stars. I used custom drivers before for my particular audio setup, but I installed Windows 10, and those drivers do not seem to work. I have been trying to get it to work for about a month and a half now, tried an X-FI sound card and purchased other cables to try fix it, but then I stumble across this program and it fixes my issue with 1 click. It has finally perfected my audio again and I am very grateful.

Brilliant program, and highly recommended. I use it daily when watching Youtube videos or listening to music from a program without a crossfeed filter. I can make presets for crossfeed, vocal enhancement, etc. The pre-amp is very useful on soft videos/audio where raising the computer volume to full doesn't help. I'd also recommend using the Peace GUI with this.

I'd give this program six stars if I could, and would like to send a box of chocolates to its creator... I have hearing loss in my right ear, due to ear infections as a child. I'm an ardent music lover, pianist, and composer. But, I've never been able to wear headphones, as everything images off to the left. With this program, and an online frequency generator, I've been able to balance the sound between the left and right sides at all frequencies - my hearing loss is greater at some frequencies than others. Once that was done, I was able to use the delay option to delay the left channel a few samples to bring solo vocalists and instruments to exact center. I'm 54, and for the first time in my life, I can enjoy a nice set of headphones. To the creator of this program, thanks isn't nearly enough...

Wow need something to cut off low level frequencies for a 5.1 setup. This worked amazingly!! Very easy to setup!! My sub stage i would say is three times louder, clearer with more punch. The frequencies that i cut off were under 35 hz. JUST WOW THANK YOU SOO MUCH!! IF is looking for something similar i would recommend this might work for you as well.

Awesome! Just pure perfection. I was searching for ways to filter microphone input in windows and was learning about APOs when I stumbled upon this project. Not only does it allow me to equalize my audio output but it apparently also allows me to implement any FIR filter for the input signal. The equalizer itself was a feature I have been looking for ages every now and then but the pure flexibility of this program is amazing. I just tested that I can simply modify the text files and the APO changes just like that which means I can very easily program additional functionality to go with the already amazing features available. Although this also means I won't be learning about APOs any more which could be a good or a bad thing from different points of view.

A must have for any audio fan who has to sit in an office and listen to desktop speakers

Excellent solution to a common issue in computer audio & HiFi. Even without the UI, just the config txt files, this would be great. With the UI this something many people would be willing to pay cash for. Since this is GPL stuff, need to donate voluntarily. This is so good!

Excellent Job. Works charm and I can take my speakers to any level with depth bass.. wonderful noise reduction. I would recommend to everyone to use it and enjoy.

This software is simply amazing. The level of control it gives for a PC is unprecedented. For me, there was a bit of a learning curve but once I got the basics down I was blown away by the sound coming from my cheap built in audio! Thank you for software that does exactly what I want and need!

The 1.0 version is the most complete and also the most compatible one yet. I had some problems with it before (when it didn't have a GUI), but now it's perfect and fully compatible with Windows 10.

I have looked forever for a systemwide windows EQ that actually worked.. my USB soundcard left much to be desired with no control of sound at all. Once coupled with the Peace GUI, this is the most spectacular and functional software probably even available. I wish it was easier to find. No lag on system, Changes can be heard realtime. Amazing amount of modifications that can be made to your sound yet with the proper GUI, everything is laid out in an easy enough way that anyone can operate it but an advanced user wont feel held back. Just a great job to the person(s) who created this software. This person deserves a way to easily donate to.

Wow. Used in combination with RoomEQ Wizard. Amazing results for room correction.

A fantastic way to implement an always on Equalizer in your PCs playback system. It works on the chosen Outputs and e.g. allows you to get rid of room modes with the (big) help of RoomEQWizard generating the needed filters. You even have the possibility to implement some level of programming for the configuration to do some amazing stuff. 5 Stars this is great!

This is brilliant! Super natural crisp sounds. I never thought my simple laptop could become this hi fi! Amazing sound improvement, speechless! Feels like i'm watching movies in theaters! fantastic bass! This is hi fi sounds indeed! Great when combined with equalizer apo gui, makes things so much easier. Big thanks for making it available for free.

Fantastic. I suppose I should play with all the settings but I all I wanted was a volume boost as I have a laptop. The example file when changing the preamp to 0db gave me all the boost needed. Great little program

I've been using eqapo for some years and it does exactly what it says on the tin. I use it in conjunction with the peace-equalizer-apo GUI available on sourceforge as well.

EQ works fine... BUT a BIG BUT, the installation messed up window scaling in games. During installation I had GTA V in 720p running fullscreen. It switched to fullscreen with black borders. So now the image is tiny and centered. The same problem still after windows restart. Before installing there was not any problems with fullscreen scaling from non native resolution. I have thinkpad, windows8.1 pro, i7, intel HD4000 and nVidia GT740m. This just got really annoying... What did the install change? it should not f*** up my screen setups. There doesn't seem to be option in the intel driver settings, there is only one oprtion and I can not change it, it's selected all the time ("Maintain display scaling"). Also there isn't an scaling option in the nVidia setting either. Why did this happen????

Works like a charm from Day 1 on my Asus X750JN 17" laptop with RealTek Sonicmaster audio, running Windows 10 Pro x64 Technical Preview Build 10130. Functions 100% perfectly. The Peace GUI add-on also works great. Would be nice if this was updated to 64-bit, but I guess you can't have everything.

hallo daar, ik draai windows 7 x64 met realtek high audio geluidskaart en ik heb een probleem, de EqualizerAPO64-0.9.2 sloopt de system effecten van de geluidskaart drivers, ik heb alles geprobeerd, eerst de EqualizerAPO64-0.9.2 installeren en daarna de laatste realtek drivers en tevens andersom maar krijg EqualizerAPO64-0.9.2 niet aan de praat. dat wil zeggen de EqualizerAPO64-0.9.2 werkt wel maar dan ben ik de systeem effecten kwijt, doe ik het andersom werken de system effecten wel maar niet de EqualizerAPO64-0.9.2, hebben jullie een oplossing voor dit probleem? mijn email is jwvdbosch@ziggo.nl bij voorbaat dank, nog 1 ding ik heb ook een x86 32 bit machine met windows vista waar EqualizerAPO64-0.9.2 gewoon correct werkt, maar wat raar is is als je naar de registry key van EqualizerAPO surft staan daar achter de child apo's de waarden !key en !value wat bij mijn windiws 7 x64 machine niet het geval is, wat is hier het verschil?

I have a HP Pavillion 550-223 , with IDT sound card. This program locked everything up, rebooted with no sound. I had to uninstall the program and disable the audio driver in the control panel, and let it reboot, the first time it did not work, I tried it again, and it reinstalled the OEM sound driver(s). I saw the comment about only working with certain hardware, I had no idea what was in this computer, it was all OEM. It may work fine on different systems, just not this type of mass produced compute. I am sure the developer worked very hard on this and I am not taking anything away from them, it just doesn't work on this computer.
