Hello all. I'm trying to connect to a Microsoft Wireless Base Station MN-500. The wirelessdriver currently works with my apple base station. Does the driver support other base stations? What is the set-up needed for my PBG3 Wallstreet to recognize the MN 500? Any help would be appreciated. TIA Greg |

Hi Im having some problems getting the Proxim Harmony card running, I saw some old posts about this but couldnt get it running, tried to add my cards ioname to Info.plist like this <dict> <key>CFBundleIdentifier</key> <string>org.noncontiguous.WirelessDriver</string> <key>IOClass</key> <string>org_noncontiguous_WirelessDriver</string> <key>IONameMatch</key> <array> <string>pccard156,2</string> <string>pccard126,8000</string> <string>pccard1eb,807</string> <string>pccard274,1613</string> <string>pccard274,1612</string> <string>pccard138,2</string> </array> <key>IOProbeScore</key> <integer>1000</integer> <key>IOProviderClass</key> <string>IOPCCard16Device</string> </dict> but I still cant see the card in the network settings. Hi All, After playing with the revised SigMeter application a bit, I have noticed twice now that rebooting improved my signal to noise ratio significantly. I suppose this is a result of the card trying to optimize things, and messing itself up in the process. I'm wondering if there is another way to more easily reset the card than rebooting. Has anyone else noticed this? Thanks, Rob -- Rob Frohne, Ph.D., P.E. E.F. Cross School of Engineering Walla Walla College http://www.wwc.edu/~frohro/ |

My Wallstreet running X.2.2 and the latest SourceForge drivers does not show an EN1 in the network list. The card is seen as an 802.11b card by the PC card controller. Anyone know how to get it to show up? Thanks, Pete |

Yes, that feature is in the works. A new update is due soon, but has been delayed while I spend most/all of my time trying to get the projects I'm involved in back on track - one of which is a USB version of this updated driver (closed source on the USB code, sorry). -Rob On Saturday, December 7, 2002, at 10:39 AM, Darrin Kohavi wrote: > The wireless driver works well with my Linksys Wpc11, range is > exceedingly splendid. The wireless driver works well with my Linksys Wpc11, range is exceedingly splendid. My only question, is if a menu will be developed, (ala airport) that shows the available networks, and not makes me have to manually restart to connect to a new one? I just realized that the Netgear MA401 appears to the system as MA401RA (while the box still says it's a MA401). I guess this is probably a newer version of this card. Does anybody know whether this could be the reason for the card being ignored by the wireless driver? Frank |

Hello all, I'm trying to figure out how to get the WEP key to stick in my Wireless settings. I'm using Mac OS X 10.2.2 and a Lucent Orinoco Gold Card. The Wireless works very well, but I have to keep reentering the WEP key every time I connect to the Wi-Fi. Hello everyone, I've got one question although I know think I know the answer. I've got a Ti550, Lucent silver card and wireless driver b5 installed and working well, I think. Is anyone using an external antenna with a Lucent Silver card? Mine doesn't seem to work and I wanted to make sure it the card before purchasing a new one. The antenna setup worked well with my airport card but the pigtail had to hang out my pccard slot. Which was a PITA since I lost the card slot for any type of usage. Does anyone have a scanning working even pre-alpha version? As a one of my many hats is a wireless installer and scanning is extremely helpful during installs. Thanks, Kevin ke...@ca... |
