Thanks a lot for the help. It worked fine for me. Another question is the first time I click the link https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:10000/session_login.cgi?user=admin&pass=xxxxxx&log_account=10 , it comes up with an error saying The page cannot be displayedThere is a problem with the page you are trying to reach and it cannot be displayed. But if I just give the link https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:10000 and hit enter, it shows the login page which is fine. But after that click the above url with the username and password it works just fine. What is the reason it doesn't work initially? Does it need to set any cookies? Why does it work the second method. Any help or suggestion is highly appreciated. Hil folks, my webmin server runs fine with ssl and the default port settings. Now I=20 have a problem connecting to my webmin when I=B4m behind a firewall with=20 locked ports. I tried to setup my Apache server to pass the requests to=20 webmin. So instead of "https://www.myserver.net:10000" I like something=20 like "https://webmin.myserver.net" or "https://www.myserver.net/webmin". I played with the apache httpd.conf and ssl.conf with no success. Can=20 someone provide me with a working example? Thanks & Regards, Christian |

I keep getting the following message from Bind and am wondering if anyone knows
anything about this:
no more recursive clients: quota reached
I'm running a Fedora Core 3 box with BIND version 9.2.5 and I have read that version 9
has limited queries and you need to modify Bind by adding the following:
options {
recursive-clients 5000;
};
I assume this goes in the /etc/named.conf file, but I am still getting the message. I
even uped the value to 21000 and am still having the problem. Anyone?
Thanks
Vern

I haven't seen that error before.. Does it happen anywhere else in Webmin, such as when you use the feature of the Upload and Download module to fetch a file to your PC? Also, does it happen in other browsers? - Jamie On 15/Oct/2005 08:32 morris hooten wrote .. > Has anyone seen this error in IE using the file manager save button? > I can upload to the directory but get this error when trying to save > back to my pc. > > Thanks |

You don't need a separate server.. if you want to copy a file to multiple servers including the current server, you can select both 'this server' and a group from the list (using ctrl-click). - Jamie |

An Idea: In cluster copy, I see that we can create a cluster copy, but only from the current webminned server. It would be great to create a cluster copy with a different source. I was wondering: what is the philosophy? Use a separate server to manage a cluster? I need to manage a cluster of 2 web servers. It is a bit wierd since the current server in webmin cannot be part of a group. I'm just beginning to work with (I'm usually a CLI guy), so I know I have a lot to discover. Regards, -- Ugo |

Hello, Suspect <pr...@re...> wrote: > Any reason why FreeBSD 5.4 is showing as FreeBSD 2005 under the > Operating System module in webmin? The reason is the new "Who am I" feature in Webmin. If you take a closer look at $webmin_install_dir/os_list.txt you will finde the following lines: # All FreeBSD versions FreeBSD $1 freebsd $1 $uname \ =~ /FreeBSD.*?\s([0-9\.]+)/i which means that all FreeBSD-Versions are named because of the uname-line output and not because of a version number. bis dahin/kind regards Martin Mewes -- FAQ fuer sus...@su... -> http://www.suse-faq.de.vu/ FAQ fuer deb...@li... -> http://www.de.debian.org/debian-user-german-FAQ/ |

Hi Jesse, "Jesse C. Does anyone know what this is used for? I did not use this feature up to now, but as a "good guess" I think that the system administrator can insert Names and E-Mail-Addresses which are of general interest and are commonly used for/by all users on the system. It is a good place to store data centralized and up2date data. bis dahin/kind regards Martin Mewes -- Fragen zur unbeaufsichtigten Installation von SuSE Linux sind hier ontopic: sus...@su... |

Although the Cyrus IMAPd webmin module looks nice, apparently it was written with Linux in mind. Alot of the functionality is lost on FreeBSD. IMAPAdmin uses pam instead of the sasldb for admin authentication, which requires me to reconfigure sasl to support the module. Using the phpLDAPadmin might be an option, but that require php to be installed and apart and separate from Webmin. I guess what I am looking for is specific to Cyrus, OpenLDAP and FreeBSD. </selfish bastard> *sigh* Today We...@Om... was all like: ** I have used Jamie's new Dovecot IMAP/POP3 Server module, and it fits the ** bill quite nicely.
