Hi Ryan, You need to either enter a password into the 'Password for SSH account' field, or setup SSH so that the root user can login to the other system without needing a password. Generally the first option is easier .. - Jamie On Sun, 2006-03-12 at 23:35, RYAN M. vAN GINNEKEN wrote: > HAHA that is what i was looking for the outputs i knew webmin would never overlook something like that. > Which Webmin module are you using to do these backups? There are several with > backup capabilities, and all use different code .. I'm using the VirtualMin backup and am using the SSH option to transfer to another server. The folder that was created is called "997319_2_backup.pl". This folder changes from day to day. I've also noticed that this folder is inside the folder that the files are supposed to be SSHed to. Some of the files that are being backed up are in both folder with the same dates, but different times. The ones in the "997319_2_backup.pl" are actually older (by 20 minutes) than the ones in the root folder. |

Every time an account is created within virtualmin, a database is also
created. If this database is deleted from mysql it will still show on
virtualmin and it will not let anyone delete it. The consequence of this is
that the backup fails by telling me that there is no such database.how to
get around this problem?

Hi Perisa, That kind of rule would certainly do the job.. There is no need to create one for the FORWARD or OUTPUT chains though, as the INPUT chain will handle all incoming traffic from the attacker. - Jamie |

Hi Marcos, This is indeed a bug in Usermin - sometimes if a new message arrives or the mail file is modified since the mail list is displayed, the message indexes in the links become out of date by the time you click on them.
