There is no way to do this at the moment in Usermin. However, I do plan to
add a feature in the next release to allow users to setup automatic deletion
of folders once they reach a certain size, or after a certain time.

spamassasin so after a certain amount of time all spam gets deleted from all
accounts? Just like Bulk Mail at mail.yahoo.com. They delete all spams after

I updated Webmin and Usermin this morning on all production servers, with 
one glitch.

You should be careful regarding spam deletion. I'm checking messages in my
inbox marked as spam regularly. Not as rare as you think it might be I've
found wrongly marked messages due to SpamAssassin settings.

Were you doing the search from www.webmin.com/mailing.html ? Because that
page doesn't even use pipermail anymore .. instead, it uses the sourceforge
archive search.

Thanks, that does work for me too.  I assumed it wasn't on SourceForge
either, since my default download mirror (Internap) didn't have it.  I
didn't think to try a different mirror.

I found that when I used the url form the virtualmin page it didn't 
work... (when updating from within webmin)
I used the following url to install 2.611, ie a direct mirror  url

http://nchc.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/webadmin/virtual-server-2.611.wbm.gz

Worked for me yesterday

spamassassin doesn't delete mails. Once an email has been delivered,
it's a function of your imap daemon. If you are using cyrus-imapd, it's
rather simple to invoke an expire/delete for emails XX days old as you
are trying to do. Perhaps you want to clue us in on which imap server
you are using.

Is it possible that the port is being blocked on either the server 
firewall, a firewall between the client and the host, or on the client 
itself?

Can you telnet to the server on the right port from the client or 
elsewhere, including the server itself?

eg:

# telnet [server ip] [webmin port number]

If you can do that starting at the server and working your way out to 
the client. and maybe trying some other client machines too, you can 
start to figure out where the block may be occurring.

that is very odd  neither worked.
could it be a bug in firefox b/c when i try to log it just says access denied and my ip

blockhost_failures is just how many times to try before blocking you so i dont think 
that would have an impact once your block

stop /start does not do the trick either

That is really odd, as the list of blocked hosts is stored
only in memory and should be cleared after a restart.

Try running /etc/webmin/stop ; /etc/webmin/start

Failing that, edit /etc/webmin/miniserv.conf and remove
the blockhost_failures line, THEN do a restart.

Most likely you were locked out not by a specific deny on your IP,
but by making too many failed logins .. which will eventually expire.

none, is it possible it cleared already?
i had tried modifying=20
blockhost_time=3D60  but i no longer can verify since i am back...
