I think this is relatively new. spamc can now report -C or learn -L. And with the spamd -Q -x options each user can have their own per-user whitelist, etc. within the db. Roundcube with markasjunk2 using spamc has been a godsend, but not everyone uses it with email on every handheld device. Thoughts? Are they really equivalent though - I thought spamc was just for processing spam with a remote spamd, and didn't have the ability to update the per-user data files for spam learning. |

Would it be possible to use spamc to learn spam instead of using sa-learn for spamtrap addresses? sa-learn has always been a CPU hog and using spamc makes it easy for one to off-load to another device.... Cheers! mph |

The filesystem is never passed as a parameter for these commands - Virtualmin just assumes that the command knows which filesystem users have their quotas on. |

Hello! I am toying with the idea of switching to ZFS from ext4 on our Virtualmin server. It's in plain sight, that ZFS uses it's own commands for managing quota, so I will have to implement a wrapper script for it. I see that for example 'config_quota_set_user_command' (but the same goes for the other quota commands too) requires 3 paramteres: username, soft quota, hard quota in 1kB blocks. What is not clear to me, on what filesystem (mount point) is this executed? Is there a 4th option passed, or its ment to be interpreted for all the filesystems I want to manage quota settings on? Thanks cserem |

can we have different UI here: https://www.screencast.com/t/Jskyqnidw ? the five buttons "copy to.." webmin/usemin/dovecat etc. lead away from the page, the back button doesn't work (as everywhere), it's a pain. almost every time on this page you want to use a certificate for all of these things, so, please give us a "use for all" button or a table with checkmarks and a "select all" checkbox. -- |

If you are using Chrome, you can remove the domain from HSTS by going to chrome://net-internals#hsts but this is temporary and will reset the next time you hit that domain. If you want to see where it is being set, look in your web server config for a line similar to: Header always set Strict-Transport-Security "max-age=63072000; includeSubdomains; preload"? =G= ________________________________ From: Yehuda Katz <ye...@ym...> Sent: Monday, March 27, 2017 7:06 PM To: Webmin users list Subject: Re: [webmin-l] webmin uses HSTS? Nope. That's why it confuses people. That feature is just for "virtual" FTP sites, which devotes an IP to the FTP server. You don't need it. Nobody needs it. It's a vestigial feature. doesn't ProFTPd Virtual FTP disable all ftp functionality? I believe if you disable it in Features and Plugins (ProFTPd Virtual FTP), it'll disappear from everything. That reminds me, I want to talk Jamie into setting that to disabled, by default, because nobody ever knows what it means/does, and they enable it and get errors about IP addresses and get confused. And, nobody ever actually needs it these days. The notion of a world-facing FTP server is quite passe. I would like to remove the option "IP based virtual ftp server" from my domain template but I cannot find the option. Can someone point me to it? -- |

I think what Andrey was suggesting was to use the post-domain-creation script feature to copy in files. However, there is a simpler solution - just create /etc/skel/public_html and put any files you want copied to new domains in there. |

If you don't have anything useful to say, please don't say anything. The answer do not become invalid just because you don't like it. If you are too lazy to read documentation, I'm not the one to retype it for you. And given your reaction, I won't be the one to search the documentation for you to provide a direct link. Last, but not least, please teach your mail agent to not quote raw email addresses in message body. Thank you in advance. -- With best regards, Andrey Repin Thursday, March 23, 2017 00:18:31 Sorry for my terrible english... |
