Swell :) My search for "virtualmin repo debian" didn't result in anything useful. I'd rather not use any installers, are there repo instructions available somewhere? I found a lot of references to what other people have (like https://www.virtualmin.com/node/53614), but no official post? -joho On 01/30/2018 05:35 AM, Jamie Cameron wrote: > > Nginx + FPM is fully supported, but you need to install the > virtualmin-nginx plugin (which is included in the Virtualmin YUM and > APT repositories) > |

Nginx + FPM is fully supported, but you need to install the virtualmin-nginx plugin (which is included in the Virtualmin YUM and APT repositories) On 29/Jan/2018 13:28 Joaquim Homrighausen <jo...@we...> wrote .. I must obviously be doing something wrong (that happens a lot) ... I see the virtualmin-nginx modules on github, etc. Is nginx/php-fpm support only available for some specific versions of webmin/virtualmin? (I know I've asked about nginx support before, but it didn't actually become a need until today) Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere. -joho |

Looking back through the error message I noticed that the url is not correct; I think this was an earlier issue with Let's Encrypt. https://domain.com.well-known/acme-challenge/ The url is not properly formed; it is missing the / after .com On 01/24/2018 01:31 PM, Kimberly wrote: > Anyone any ideas on why Let's Encrypt is failing? Anyone any ideas on why Let's Encrypt is failing? I have now seen this on two completely different servers; so it is not related to the server but both servers are running webmin/Viurtualmin and both are updated. I would have to go back and see the failure message from the first I posted but I think this new failure is the same. Hello! Using Centos 7-64 on a dedicated server, Webmin asks me to update a few software concerning wireless adapters. I haven't any wireless adapter on the server... How can I make these updates not show up anymore in the list? Thank you! |

Both of these can be setup in Virtualmin, using links under the Email Messages menu category. On 17/Jan/2018 14:12 MAR <we...@ro...> wrote .. > > Are there any tutorials on this? Hello, I'm running centos 7.4.1708 & webmin 1.870. I'm trying to setup 2fa w/ google but it keeps complaining I'm missing perl authen::OATH. i have installed it already and restarted everything, even the server itself (it's a VPS). i have root shell access. i can also run: perl -e 'use Authen::OATH;' and it returns nothing which i understand means it's working. i installed it via CPAN. Strange thing is I tried this on another server and it worked fine there. What is the difference here? The other server is identical. I installed webmin from the repo via yum on both. I'm scratching my head and feel lost....haha. Anyway, unsure how to proceed. anyone? Thanks. -- Thanks, Fabian S. OpenPGP: 3C3FA072ACCB7AC5DB0F723455502B0EEB9070FC |

There's a bug in Webmin 1.870 that can cause this for simfs filesystems. You can fix it by upgrading to the 1.872 development version from http://www.webmin.com/devel.html On 05/Jan/2018 11:28 Joaquim Homrighausen <jo...@we...> wrote .. > > What would make Webmin think quotas are not enabled, but yet the "quota > <user>" command works from Debian 8 CLI? > > Or is this simply a usage report? > > Disk quotas for user userfoo (uid 1012): > Filesystem blocks quota limit grace files quota > limit > grace > /dev/simfs 4194308* 4194304 0 none 11443 0 > 0 > > repquota also shows reasonable output. > > > -joho > > |

What would make Webmin think quotas are not enabled, but yet the "quota <user>" command works from Debian 8 CLI? Or is this simply a usage report? Disk quotas for user userfoo (uid 1012): Filesystem blocks quota limit grace files quota limit grace /dev/simfs 4194308* 4194304 0 none 11443 0 0 repquota also shows reasonable output. -joho |

No, never. Looking at the installed version of Webmin, the upgrade itself seems to have worked though. So I guess it was "only" the init script that failed. -joho On 12/12/2017 04:57 AM, Jamie Cameron wrote: > > That's unusual - have you perhaps manually edited /etc/init.d/webmin ? > |
