Hi, All:
I cannot guess what this means by the author:
[usr_24.txt] These special keys are most useful
when writing a mapping that doesn't leave Insert
mode. The extra typing doesn't matter then.
(1) "writing" - defining or typing/editing/using?
(2) "doesn't leave Insert mode" - associated with
"writing" or "mapping"?
Defining a mapping is always done under Normal mode
via ":map" or ":imap" command. If it's latter, then,
according to usr_40, append "a" makes a mapping to
remain in Insert mode. No much of usefulness that I
see for these special keys.
I need someone to contribute a practical example that
demonstrates "these special keys are most useful" in
a situation as described here by the author

Hi all, As the sourceforge site is now and then blocked, it is hard for us to keep track of progress and who's doing what by that status webpage. In my opinion, the term of ¿ª¹Ø is an uneducated translation of the English word 'electric switch', and hence ¿ª/¹Ø for On/Off. While a switch for a flow of fluid indeed resembles a door, the electric switch operates just opposit to that - when the switch is open, the current stops, and when closed, the current flows. Supprisingly, Chinese physicists had never corrected this and came up with a better term. Hi all, In the Vim documentation there are quite a lot of places where capital only phrases are used to indicate a section title. Of course in Chinese we don't distinguish small and big characters. So my sugestion is to use a space to let the translated text stands out. Like Zhong Wen Wen Dang instead of ZhongWenWenDang. What do you think? lang2 |
