Hi, there, I've made a status page on our VCD site: http://vcd.cosoft.org.cn/status.html Take a look at it and do let me know if i've missed something. BTW, since cosoft sometimes wouldn't work well enough, i just imported the VCD web pages to our CVS repository on SF. This also makes updating pages more easily. The VCD web stuff resides in $CVSROOT/VCD/VCD/htdocs/. It doesn't affect other dirs already in the CVS repository. Regards, -- Leslie Jackson |

But this is a project excuted by volunteers. You can't force a person to do things. I think the current way (wandsy's cvs say) is find as long as every boday stick with it. The thing you experienced will happen even if we had a perfect tracking system. I hope you understand what I mean. > > The new web site doesn't have the status page, or I > have overlooked? I finally decided to submit usr_20.txt last night, (I had some partial work at the beginning with vimcdoc) though the chapter might have someone already working on (that's the status over a month ago, and I assume the translator may have dropped the work). I hope this situation won't happen in the future. We need a reliable and authorative way to communicate with the status and progress of this project. The new web site doesn't have the status page, or I have overlooked? I still have some time to do a few more chapters, preferrably in between usr_20 and usr_30. I remember that wandys had done or taken 29 and 30. And I've completed 20, 22, 24 and 26. Please let me know if anybody occurrently working on any of 21, 23, 25, 27 and 28. Thanks. Some of the files in our CVS repository are with CRLF line terminators. (Edited under Windowz?) This is normally harmless. But it brought problems when i used 'vim2html' to covert text files to HTML files -- The coloring stuff doesn't work well. Done a 's/^V^M//g' in order to properly display the coloring keywords. But i haven't yet committed the changes to the CVS. It might sound trivial but don't you guys think we should set a standard about this CRLF vs. LF problem? Regards, -- Leslie Jackson |

Openlab is a Plan B. :-) We use openlab in case both sf and cosoft won't work. It's a backup-like site for VCD. Normally, we mainly use the web site at Cosoft, don't we? > 2. Do you have CGI access? Hi all, Just wondering this: When sourceforge is blocked, would one still be able to use the cvs frontend? Say the following link? http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/*checkout*/vimcdoc/doc/usr_01.txt?rev=HEAD&content-type=text/plain |
