Only when we need access to the CD burner we regain root access. I just made some cleanups in the KreateCD CVS: - replace all FALSE->false and TRUE->true - create KApplication and KAboutData on heap - this could fix the help menu problem - reenabled help-menu for testing (see below) - add newline at EOF of ConfigDialog.cpp to fix compiler warning Please update CVS NOW to avoid conflicts. We should find the help menu problem soon, if it still crashes, please try to remove the KAboutPerson object in startup.cpp , might be a problem with KAboutData. I've committed the latest edition of the configuration dialog. It should work a lot better, since the OK button is now functioning properly :-) To finish it, we probably only need=20 icons. I am still looking for those. Have fun with the new=20 Dialog! Nielx |

Hi The configuration dialog is nice, but i think there is some base class for those dialogs existing in KDE,which simplyfiles their creation. I think it's called "KDialogBase". (I'm not sure). I have commiteted some changes to the CVS: 1) Drag and drop from the left to the right treeview. 2) When dragging an object to the iso tree, the item, which will become it's parent is highlighted. I thought about an list, which points to all temporarily stored files in one kreatecd run (not one iso image) and the possibility for the user to decide, if he wants to store them permanently, when he saves the project file. Please could someone put it into CVS, I didn't have enough time to lern it and I don't want to mess up files on the server. http://stud3.tuwien.ac.at/~e9925371/kreatecd/temporary.html The file has a size of 6KB. 1) You can drop local files / directories from konqueror, kdesktop, .. onto the right hand side treeview. There are instructions how to checkout the CVS tree as developer. (with r/w access) If diffs are small, sending to the list might be OK, but if a diff is >4KB, please send it to me. Try to remove the icons installed by kreatecd. As it crashes somewhere in QT while loading images, it might crash while loading the KreateCD icons. Alexander |

My plans for the D'N'D in the Isotree are:
1) Implement D'N'D internal (left -> right treeview) (work in progress)
2) DND from konqueror -> kreatecd (local files) (not started yet)
