I have FreeCol 0.12.0. After having destroyed the only Cherokee settlement and after my turn ends, there is "Waiting for: Cherokee" and the game freezes.

  I have the same problem. In the attached savegame I just destroyed the Tupi capital, and the game waits endlessly for the Tupi turn now.
