#85 Unable to start Configurator.exe on Windows 10 (Nov 2018)

I installed EAPO on Windows 10 (Version: 1803, OS Build: 17134.407), but I can not start the Configurator.exe or Editor.exe ... both silently seems to crash, but I was able to see some crash details in the Windows event-viewer log (sry that it's german, I hope it still gives the necessary insight):

It started crashing for me in build 18298.1000, which was released yesterday to the fast ring for Windows Insiders. I got around it by running Configurator.exe in Windows 8 compatibility mode. I haven't tested the other modes yet, but so far it has worked for me. Good luck!

Thx for the tip. Same problem here and only running in Win 8 compatibility mode worked! It started with build 18298 for me as well. Running Configurator.exe (dependency on the Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 runtime) crashes.
