2 Days ago my audio from microphone crashed and I have managed to fix it but then my eq apo wasnt affecting anything and voicemeeter was glitching so I decided to clean install both of them by uninstalling both of the applications using Revo Uninstaller Pro. Now when I install eq apo 1.4.2 using sfx/mfx ( Ive already tried every combination possible.) It works and it affects the microphone but after a while when Im checking the audio and how it sounds in voicemeeter by clicking A1 and using headphones for it that dont have eq apo installed on them the effects stop working even though I have them enabled. For example: I have preamp -10 db. And i dont hear the change on voicemeeter but I do when i go to sound settings and click hear the device on the microphone that has eq apo installed. When I try to reset audio engine in voicemeeter or change anything that would affect the microphone that voicemeeter is using. The app freezees and stops working.
Also after a while the EQ APO stops working too. I change the preamp for example and It doesnt affect anything the audio loudness stays the same. I also have managed to try every version of apo from 1.2 and above. (I'm also installed EQ APO on steelseries virtual mic because I use the app to change some settings inside my headphones and mic too. I was thinking this might be the issue but before it worked normally without issues on 1.2 version then it stopped working on this one too.

Commonly I tried to help people with their tickets as the developer isn't addressing them. And usually this is successful. But after reading your posts I don't have much to offer. I hope some else like the developer will respond to them.
When Voicemeeter freezes then something severe has happened. I guess you have the latest version installed. Perhaps playing around with Voicemeeter versions might do the trick.
I have one remark which probably isn't an issue. The uninstallation of Equalizer APO must be done by running the uninstaller of Equalizer APO. If Revo isn't running this uninstaller then things will go wrong. For "normal" apps uninstalling is quite an easy thing to do. As Equalizer APO is a kind a system hack the uninstall process is more difficult. In other words, if Revo runs the Equalizer APO uninstaller then cleans up I suppose it isn't a problem. However, it might be that after uninstalling Equalizer APO the computer needs a restart first before Revo can clean up further.
Several issues may occur after 24H2 of Windows 11 is installed. Since a month or so I'm on 24H2. Although Equalizer APO works fine on my system 24H2 presents all kinds of hiccoughs in audio and video. Microsoft tinkered with the audio system which may cause problems in Voicemeeter and Equalizer APO. But 24H2 may just work fine on your system and the issue lies somewhere else.
Im on win 10 21H2 so win version isn't a problem. I have genuinely tried everything that I could of think of nothing works. Tried every realtek audio driver. Now I'm messing with steelseries sonar versions. Tried also earlier voicemeeter versions which didn't change anything.
I have my thinking cap on but can't think of anything . Indeed, 21H2 is pretty stable so no problems there. Using SFX/MFX is fine too.
Reading your posts, it also doesn't seem to be related to any anti-malware/firewall app. It does happen in rare occasions but it doesn't stop Voicemeeter from working or stop the audio stream. It may restore an APO back to original, causing issues. But I'm not aware if this is a possibiity.
There's another (rare) thing I have seen. The connecting software between Voicemeeter and Equalizer APO is "VoicemeeterClient.exe". Sometimes this file (and perhaps process) is deleted from your start menu
c:\users\<yourname>\appdata\roaming\Microsoft\Windows\startmenu\programs\startup</yourname>.
When Windows and/or anti-malware software remove this process "mid flight" then things stop working, perhaps freezing Voicemeeter. But I don't find this very likely.
Trying all possible versions is awkward but it could provide a solution. Good thinking on your part.
