Configurator / Editor not launching?
A system-wide equalizer for Windows 7 / 8 / 8.1 / 10 / 11

Hello! My Equalizer APO configurator won't launch, its supposed to on install but just closes the installer normally without launching it. I try launching it in the directory I installed it to and nothing happens, same with the editor. Any help? I use Windows10 64 bit.
I'm experiencing the same thing. Launching any file from the directory does absolutely nothing and launching in compatibility mode does not change it either.
I would also add that i got the same issue that the editor no longer launches for me on Windows 10 x64 update 1909. I installed the program about a month ago and configured all my settings and it was working then but it is no longer launching and i get a crash as soon as i open the application. (The settings i set up earlier still work but i cant change them since it dont launch.) im using ver 1.2.1
Edit: I tried to clear my config.txt file so it has nothing to do with that.

Maybe doing a sequence of uninstalling and reinstalling Equalizer APO helps.
This was the first thing I tried. It didn't do anything, so I had to roll back to a previous version (which works)
I had to downgrade to 1.1.2. Both 1.2 and 1.2.1 crash immediately. Here's the Event Log crash data from 1.2.1, in case it helps:

Okay devs, there is the repro and a workaround. Please fix :)
Holy shit, it works. Thank you so much
Great workaround, William.
I'm not an expert on the program code of Equalizer APO and the QT5 Gui library. It might be that the code doesn't account for the proper saving of the window state and geometry of the detached analysis panel. Unfortunately, I can't provide the developer more info as my knowledge is limited.
