If your mic works in some apps and not in others then usually this is a matter of those apps using your mic in WASAPI exclusive mode, a mode which gives an app exclusive access so other apps can't record/stream. However, in this mode any Audio Processing Object (read sound enhancements) like Equalizer APO will be bypassed. So try to set these apps on WASAPI shared mode although an app may use another term. Another, perhaps better approach, is to uncheck the exclusive mode checkboxes for your mic as shown in the attached screenshot.

Smart move. Done that I don't know why some apps still won't work with Equalizer APO. It would be nice if the developer of Equalizer APO has something to say about this. All you can do is to try the options available under the "Troubleshooting options" in the Device Selector. I would try the unchecking of the "Use original APO" checkboxes. Then the remaining 2 APO techniques in the "Install as" dropdown box. Before testing click the "Ok" button in the Device Selector to invoke the changes of these options.

In the Device Selector after installing Equalizer APO onto an audio device and after clicking the "Ok" button it automatically selects the first working APO technique. In most cases this works fine and we don't have to select any APO technique ourselves. We don't even have to know what APO means.

In your case, after installing Equalizer APO onto your mic you should try other APO techniques as the automatically selected one may not work. An APO can be seen as a sound enhancement/effect. An APO technique is how Windows has implemented the usage of sound enhancements/effects. Anyway, in the troubleshooting options where you found the greyed out "Use original APO" checkboxes you'll find a dropdown box with APO techniques called "Install as ...". Select one and click "Ok". First test it by using the Peace Equalizer as that's the easiest way. Select your mic in its devices list and move the pre amp slider (top one). If your voice gets louder and softer then your mic works. When using the Configuration Editor add a device selection command (don't use the top right device dropdown box!), select your mic. Then beneath it add a pre amp command and dial its knob.

Now try this in the apps which don't work with Equalizer APO.
