Reajs plugins from Reaplugs seem not to work at all

Hi,

I downloaded Equalizer APO to use it solely with Reaplugs VST plugins and some of them, like reacomp, reagate work. But in case of e.g. expander from reajs, no option affects output at all.

I tried all the options in the configurator (LFG/GFX, SFX/MFX, SFX/EFX).
What is interesting that when I select SFX/EFX, reboot and open configurator again, SFX/MFX is selected.

Any tips or advice?

For those who come across this post in future: the problem that I was running into, (which is likely what caused this problem) was that I installed ReaPlugs, which caused ReaJS to decide to get it's plugins from %appdata%/REAPER/Effects, which of course was inacessible from the audio service. The fix I found on youtube is to include the following file as reajs.ini

[ReaJS]
rootpath=<<path to JS folder at same level as ReaJS.dll>>

for me <<path to="" js="" folder="" at="" same="" level="" as="" reajs.dll="">> was "\Program Files\VSTPlugins\ReaPlugs\JS", but technically, it can be anywhere the audio service has acess to and where the plugins you would like to use are stored.</path>
