I love EAPO so far, how do I some things?

Hello,

I used to use Razer Synapse and Dolby on my Laptop, and I kept having trouble with both apps, they were just too frustrating to make work properly, especially Synapse screwing up a lot.

I dumped both, and changed to EAPO and I love it, it's awesome. It saved me from all my audio issues, it's simply the best.

I have two questions so far..

1: How do I set it so EAPO is per audio source? IE, Laptop Speakers, my Headphones, Oculus Quest. I don't want the Equaliser I've set for my headphones which is bass heavy for fun, to be on my Laptop Speakers.

2: How do I replicate the stereo widening effect that Dolby Access used on my Laptop? Basically what it did if I am correct is if something was playing on the left channel, the right channel would play the same audio but in reverse, like a cancellation effect, to make the left sound seem even further to the left than what seemed physically possible from the Laptop sitting in front of me.

You could use the Peace equalizer which is the most versatile interface for Equalizer APO, especially compared to its Configuration Editor. But basically when wanting the Equalizer APO commands like EQ-ing done on a specific device is just selecting that device with a device selection command. Peace does this for you when selecting a device from the Peace devices list. When using the Configuration Editor it's about adding this command (green plus -> control -> device). Any command beneath it will be done on this device, well until another device selection is found.

For this stereo widening effect you either need to find a VST 2 plugin or try the available effects on the Peace effects panel (widening over there isn't that particularly good compared that of Dolby Access). But reading your description of the effect, it seems like the midside effect of which Peace has a Peace config (under many others). But I think stereo widening is probably a more complex algorithm which, perhaps, some VST plugin has.
