APO Equalizer balance crosstalk.

When I do a left/right channel test the channels are dinstinct (there's only sound from the designated speaker), but when when I slidethe channel balance all the way over to either side in APO I can still hear the other channel. Any idea why this is happening? ALL Windows and device spatial settings are turned off, so it's not that. It doesn't make sense.
Which GUI are you're using? The Peace Equalizer (as this one has a balance knob and slider)?
