I was seeing this error too, because the Date::Manip package did not reconize the Malay timezone so I switched to the equivalent autralian timezone that it does regonize, so I'm not sure if that will help you with your problem, but you might check into it. It is posible Redhat is using an unreconized symbol for your timezone. Hi, after Installing CSCMail via the Perl script and renaming the folder URI-1.07 to URI-1.05, the Databaseselectionwindow appeared, i used Mysql as Database Engine. After starting CSCMail i get following error: Can't locate object method "add_accel_group" via package "Gtk::Window" at /usr/bin/cscmail line 4724 Segmentation fault I use SuSE 6.3 Intel regards Jochen Hoff |

i think there is a problem with the installer script, it fetches the URI-1.07 version but want the 1.05 version. regards Jochen Hoff |

Close... I had to alter the Makefile so that the Perl modules would be founf (changed it from /usr/local to /usr).. If I knew enough about Perl, I could of probably told it where to look, but this was quick and easy (I'm on a RH 6.1 machine).. Then, for some reason, it didn't copy /migration-scripts over at all.. I double checked everything, and everything else copied over just fine.. So, I manually copied the scripts over, ran those two, and I'm rplying out of the upgraded version ;) Thanks for all the help, and the great client! ;) -- Homer Parker Technical Support Omega Internet Solutions 785.483.5588 hp...@ru... http://www.russellks.net |

The installer will only download stable cscmail, to up from 1.6.1 to 1.7.x you will find two migration scripts if you are running a real db adn they are the only ones you will need... go to /usr/lib/cscmail after you install and do ./migration-scripts/AddBccSearch ./migration-scripts/AddBodyText and you are set. That was because Steve forgot to update certain places of the installer with the updates, use the attached installer - you shouldn't have problems with it .. Manip 5.38 requires that you put in the timezone variable also - its fixed in the authors homepage but not posted on CPAN yet ... so find Manip.pm after you install and on line 95 put your timezone or cscmail will fail. PS Steve - commit this attached script. Maher On Thu, 22 Jun 2000 19:41:03 +0200 (CEST), Ken...@ho... said: > Hi Steve, > > Thanks for the help. Hi Steve, Thanks for the help. Unfortunately, after downloading the new .pl script and running it I'm still getting the same errors. Any other suggestions - I'd love to give CSCMail a try. It's been getting good reviews :-) Thanks! Ken On 20 Jun, Steven Kordik wrote: > On Tue, 20 Jun 2000 23:29:17 +0200 (CEST), Ken Schar said: > >> Hi Steven, >> >> Thanks for the reply!
