I had the same problem with sending and recieving mails. This is caused by the Date::Manip Module, that doesn't recognize your Timezone. Just find the File "Manip.pm" (for example in /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/Date) and fill in your TImezone (something like CEST or GMT) Or read the FAQ on the CSCMail Homepage, this should help. Also incomming messages don't display in the inbox -- they don't display anywhere, yet I see them coming in via the dialog box. Any ideas will be appreciated. Paul |

Hi, I was wondering is there is the possibility to make an option that lets one specity the max Kb of an e-mail to have to be downloadad? Or is it already there and I have overlooked it? ciao Sebastian |

Steven Kordik wrote: > > Just committed a new feature to CVS... > > "Reply To List" What a great new feature! I'll be looking forward to it being in the C version. I upgraded to Mandrake 7.1 and then spent two hours unsuccessfully trying to get Perl and MySQL to work together. I decided I didn't need that kind of hassle just to read my mail and swore off Pronto and its older brother. I'm using Netscape right now while I wait for your C version to come out. -- Lane ____ Lane Lester / Madison County, Georgia USA ---- |

Just committed a new feature to CVS... "Reply To List" For those of us on the annoying @gnome.org mailing lists that set the reply-to: to the sender, and not the list, I added a "Reply to List" option. Basically, under "Edit" there is now a "Mailing Lists" option. Put the list address and an optional description in there. Then, when you want to reply to the list instead of a person, just hit "Alt-L" or use the menus to choose "Reply to List" It will search the To: and Cc: fields for a matching list and set the reply accordingly. DATABASE UPDATE REQUIRED for postgres: create table lists (id int4, address text, description text); Thanks, -CZ -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Steve Kordik st...@vo... Do I need to make 3 > separate filters for these or can they all be combined into one filter? With version 1.6.1 you can use perl Regular expressions and a single filter: [(SHU)|(MAC)|(HER)] would work In version 1.7.8 normal regular expressions have been disabled due to users incorrectly putting things like *@host.com in the field, and causing cscget to crash. I am working on implimenting an option (with the appropriate warning) to allow an experienced user to have the power of true regex's and yet protect the inexperienced. Even with 1.7.8 though, you can still get the same results, but it takes three filters. -CZ -- -----BEGIN GEEK CODE BLOCK----- Version: 3.1 GIT/CM d--(+) s+: a- C++++ UL++++$ P+++ L+++>++++ E--- W+++(--) N+ o? I am having a little trouble getting the filters to work correctly. What I need to do is to have the messages filtered into various folders depending on the criteria thats contained in the subject of the emails. To give an example I need to move messages that contain the sequence (SHU) or (MAC) or (HER) to a folder name customers. Do I need to make 3 separate filters for these or can they all be combined into one filter? |

(or, "Don't download dupes" in the Account Editor?) If so, that is the reason for the difference in the number of messages CSCMail reports (it just uses the POP3 STAT command to see how many messages are on the server) and the actual number of messages downloaded. CSCMail does it's dupe checking "on the fly" so as it is about to download each message, it checks the header info for a non-unique msgid. If it sees that the msgid matches a msg already in your database, it skips it... That message still gets "counted" though.. It just doesn't get downloaded... -CZ -- -----BEGIN GEEK CODE BLOCK----- Version: 3.1 GIT/CM d--(+) s+: a- C++++ UL++++$ P+++ L+++>++++ E--- W+++(--) N+ o? You updated to 1.7.8 and didn't read the ChangeLog... You have to add a bcc column to your messages CSV file. I seem to remember there being other differences between 1.6.1 and 1.7.x so you would be well advised to read through the changelog. -CZ -- -----BEGIN GEEK CODE BLOCK----- Version: 3.1 GIT/CM d--(+) s+: a- C++++ UL++++$ P+++ L+++>++++ E--- W+++(--) N+ o? Hi,
I would be grateful for some help. For various reasons, I have not been
able to install cscmail-1.6.1. Now, I'm concentrating on cscmail-1.7.x and
cschtml-full-1.1.0. Cschtml itself seems to build okay and I've moved
CscHTML to gnome-perl, as per the INSTALL instructions. Gnome-perl also
builds, as does CscHTML, but the CscHTML/samples/test.pl script results in:
perl: error in loading shared libraries:
/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.0/i686-Bregor-linux/ \
auto/HTML/Parser/Parser.so:
undefined symbol: Perl_get_hv
Trying to run cscmail gives a similar message:
bash$ cscmail
HTML Widget is: CscHTML
perl: error in loading shared libraries:
/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.0/i686-Bregor-linux/ \
auto/DBD/mysql/mysql.so:
undefined symbol: Perl_get_sv
I guess I need to install additional modules. What are they ? Better still,
when something like this happens again, how do I set about identifying the
problem ?
At the moment, my /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.0/i686-Bregor-linux/auto
