Hello, First thank for the reply for my previous mail about the same problem. So ... I've got mail, sending by our project administrator which subject are like this : ( " are not present, It's just to know about space ...) "Gen pre1_1 upgrade OK" "Gen knl1_0 upgrade OK" "Gen cre1_1 upgrade OK" "Gen AR upgrade OK" "Gen BL upgrade OK" "Gen ZH upgrade OK" "Gen NE upgrade OK" (ENd the same but with 'all' instead of 'upgrade' ) So I first write this filter : "Gen (AR|BL|ZH|NE|pre|cre|knl)" This one work fine for AR BL ZH NE but not for mail about pre1_1 cre1_1 knl1_0. Second, I write : "Gen (AR|BL|ZH|NE|pre?_?|cre?_?|knl?_?)" Always the same. This does not work for pre1_1, cre1_1, knl1_0 Then, I try "Gen (AR|BL|ZH|NE|pre[0-9_]*|cre[0-9_]*|knl[0-9_]*)" But this does not work too !! Some idea ? Thanks very much |

Most rpms have the package split in two, the runtime libraries (what you installed above), and the development libraries which you use to compile against. I expect you need both. Regards, Red |

Hi; just installed cscmail 1.6.1. Looks good. Is there a way to make mailing lists (i.e. grouped recipent adresses) |
From: Ramin C. N. <ram...@nc...> - 2000-07-13 13:55:51
|
Apologies if these features have been added to the latest CVS version - I'm using 1.6.1. If I try to mail multiple users, the To: text widget doesn't wrap. I can't place the cursor in the widget and move it right with the right arrow because right-arrow takes me to the next text widget (cc:). Wouldn't it be better to move between widgets with tab? Our mail system doesn't like groups of recipients that I've created in my address book. Is this because they're not supposed to be comma delimited? I also can't add the size of files to the fields listed in the mail header window. Is this possible in version 1.6.1? |

This has been adressed in the 1.7.x series of CSCMail by no longer requiring any HTML module. CSCMail will use a wide variety of HTML modules (CscHTML, GtkHTML, GtkXmHTML) but in the absence of one of these three modules, it will fall back to the GtkText module bundled with the Gtk+ distribution. -CZ |

This is further implicated by the two spaces I see between ")" and "search expression" If so, then you are implicitly ONLY matching when (AR|BL|NE|ZH|cre|pre) are followed by a space. If you want to not distinguish, than remove the trailing space. (Of course that will cause your regex to also match things like "Gen ARsfg" but it will not FAIL to match "Gen cre1_0" .) |

The regex's are kinda picky.... Can you match against "cre1_?" and "pre1_?" Or your second regex should work..... Hello, I've got a little problem with one of my filter .... Here the filter: Génération Nom Subject Base Type Generation Move to Folder Gen (AR|BL|NE|ZH|cre|pre) search expression. Only message with 'Gen AR ' 'Gen BL ' 'Gen NE ' 'Gen ZH ' are moved to the folder 'Generation' but message with 'Gen cre1_0 ' (With no space between 'cre' & '1_0') 'Gen pre1_1 ' are not , but 'Gen cre 1_0' (with a space between 'cre' & '1_0') is moved to the folder .... Is it a normal feature ? If yes, How can I filter messages with only part of a word and not a complete word ? (i.e message coutaining Gen (AR|BL|NE|ZH|cre[a-z_A-Z0-9]*|pre[a-zA-Z_0-9]*) Thank you very much |

The strange part of it is, that it downloads the message, but they don't appear in the inbox. (I'm really sure about this point because once there was a 160KB attachment with a message and it took long to download this twice) > What version of CSCMail are you running? My options are: Include: y, Delete: y, Default: y, Check dupes: n I will send you copies of the messages that remain on the server as soon as i recieve some. |

If you have "don't download dupes" turned on, CSCMail checks the msgid field of the mail and if that msgid exists in the local message store, it does not download it. If you have delete turned on, it should still delete the dupe off the server. If this is not happening, you may have uncovered a bug. What version of CSCMail are you running? Some of the mails I recieve aren't deleted by cscmail after the download, but they dont appear in the inbox folder if I download them again. I thought this could be the mails that arent new (sometimes I check my mails over the homepage of the mail-provider), but this happened also with new mails. Do you know why this happens? That message has an invalid date in the header. If it doesn't have a subject or anything else, then that message is more than likely a malformed message. If ALL of your mail is like this, there is some other problem. But there didn't seem to be a cscmail executable anywhere, so I installed the rpm (cscmail-nomodules-1.6.1-1.i386.rpm). When I run /usr/bin/cscmail I get: cscmail Use of uninitialized value at /usr/bin/cscmail line 55. Can't locate object method "init" via package "Gtk::XmHTML" at /usr/bin/cscmail line 55. Hi ! I've got a problem installing CSCMail on my Linux system (Suse 6.4), I used CSCMailInstaller.pl. After everything was download and compiled by the script cscmail could not launch: add_accel_group ... So I downloaded the gnome-perl package to upgrade my system as described in the FAQ. But after running "perl Makefile.PL" in the "Gtk" directory, "make" produces a lot of error messages (attachment). What's wrong??? TIA Dierk Erdmann -- Sent by: di...@wi... |
