BiMS (biclustering for mass spectrometry data) is a Java application designed to allow the application of biclustering algorithms to mass spectrometry datasets. Users can load their MS datasets and apply different clustering and biclustering algorithms (current version includes Bimax and BiBit). In adition, users can load raw datasets (in mzML or mzXML formats) and preprocess them using MALDIquant package and MassSpecWavelet.

This is the library for the project Bifurcum. It does all the work. It has a simple algorithm (Deep First Search with modifications) and allows sorting children before traversing. BioDare (Biological Data Repository) was developed under the multi-site ROBuST project (http://hallidaylab.bio.ed.ac.uk/ROBuST.html) to support data exchange inside the project. It is a web application which allows data-sharing (including public dissemination), data-processing and analysis, with the main focus on time-series data produced in circadian experiments. The main features of BioDare are: - an online repository for experimental data accompanied by extensive metadata - generation of secondary data (normalized, detrended, averaged …) - graphical output of data, secondary data and rhythm analysis - simple text-based search throughout metadata - biology- and conditions-aware search for data - data aggregation and export - group-based privacy settings for collaborative research

Bioinformatics as an emerging research area spreads out many challenges to both the Bioinformaticists and the Bioinformaticians. BioGenie is presented as a complete package for tackling these challenges. Accommodating all three platforms, that is, a desktop application, a web application and a mobile (android-based) application, BioGenie outperforms all existing softwares engineered to assist heavy and complex computations.
