The auditory modeling toolbox (AMT) is a Matlab/Octave toolbox for the development and application of auditory computational models. Over 50 auditory models implemented in Matlab, Octave, C, C++, and Python can be run from Matlab and Octave, on Windows and Linux. The AMT provides a well-structured in-code documentation, includes auditory data required to run the models. It integrates functionality to reproduce the model predictions. Model implementations can be evaluated in two stages, by running so-called demonstrations which are quick presentations of a model and by starting so-called experiments aimed at reproducing results from the corresponding publications. Easy installation and user-friendly access help students and researchers to work with and to advance existing models.

OpenJUMP is a community driven fork of JUMP the "Java Unified Mapping Platform" GIS software. The original JUMP was developed by Vivid Solutions, released under GPL2 in 2003 and discontinued in 2006. During 2004 already some enthusiastic developers joined together to enhance further the features of JUMP. They launched an independent development branch called OpenJUMP. The name gives credit to the original JUMP development, and at the same time describes the objectives of this project to be fully open to anyone wanting to contribute. These days OpenJUMP is developed and maintained by (some few) volunteers around the globe. REDUCE is an interactive system for general algebraic computations of interest to mathematicians, scientists and engineers. It can be used interactively for simple calculations but also provides a flexible and expressive user programming language. The development of the REDUCE computer algebra system was started in the 1960s by Anthony C. Hearn. Since then, many scientists from all over the world have contributed to its development. REDUCE has a long and distinguished place in the history of computer algebra systems. Other systems that address some of the same issues but sometimes with rather different emphasis are Axiom, Derive, Macsyma (Maxima), Maple, Mathematica and MuPAD. REDUCE primarily runs on either Portable Standard Lisp (PSL) or Codemist Standard Lisp (CSL), both of which are included in the SourceForge distribution. By modern standards, REDUCE is a surprisingly small and compact application, which runs well on all major operating systems.

Agena is an easy-to-learn procedural programming language suited to be used in scientific, mathematical, scripting, networking, and many other applications. Binaries are available for Solaris, Windows, Linux, OS/2, Mac OS X, Raspberry Pi and DOS.

nmrshiftdb2 is a NMR database (web database) for organic structures and their nuclear magnetic resonance (nmr) spectra. It allows for spectrum prediction (13C, 1H and other nuclei) as well as for searching spectra, structures and other properties. The nmrshiftdb2 software is open source, the data is published under an open content license. The core of nmrshitdb2 are fully assigned spectra with raw data and peak lists (we have pure peak lists as well). Those datasets are peer reviewed by a board of reviewers. The project is supported by a scientific advisory board. nmrshiftdb2 is part of the NFDI4Chem initiative (https://nfdi4chem.de/) and will provide a component for a curated repository there. SAGA - System for Automated Geoscientific Analyses - is a Geographic Information System (GIS) software with immense capabilities for geodata processing and analysis. SAGA is programmed in the object oriented C++ language and supports the implementation of new functions with a very effective Application Programming Interface (API). Functions are organised as modules in framework independent Module Libraries and can be accessed via SAGA’s Graphical User Interface (GUI) or various scripting environments (shell scripts, Python, R, ...).
