I still don't know how to edit previously written sentences at none of it's interfaces, if possible.

As well as Reduce, I have used/tried Camal, Macsyma, Mathematica, Maple, MuPad, Matlab and Julia computer algebra systems. Reduce is better than all of them. It is free, faster, and more flexible. Also see Fateman (2002) doi: 10.1145/844076.844080 Reduce's main weakness is that its matrices are a bit clunky.

I've been programming for many years and I just learned about REDUCE some time ago - However, the entire system amazes me and it helps me to bring my programming to the next level. This is the best tool and programming language I've witnessed for a long time. How can this piece of software be so powerful AND open source?! I'm so happy that I found REDUCE through a book by Andrew Seagar on electromagnetic scattering.

This is leader among algebraic computations. Input expression syntax is easy. I wonder how elegant are formulae drawing.

Reduce is better than other CAS applications..

This system has a lot of convenient functionality; in my case for zeilberger manipulation. Actual errors found were fixed almost immediately! The interface Texmacs and CSL (native) could use some improvement but I guess I could do it myself if I was really bothered. As far as I can tell the zeilberger tools are more extensive than the other free algebra programs; although a few additional features would be nice. As before I should work on doing it myself.
