SciDAVis is a user-friendly data analysis and visualization program primarily aimed at high-quality plotting of scientific data. It strives to combine an intuitive, easy-to-use graphical user interface with powerful features such as Python scriptability.

A data visualization and processing tool for scanning probe microscopy (SPM, i.e. AFM, STM, MFM, SNOM/NSOM, ...) and profilometry data, useful also for general image and 2D data analysis.

The General Mission Analysis Tool (GMAT) is an open-source tool for space mission design and navigation. GMAT is developed by a team of NASA, private industry, and public and private contributors. The GMAT development team is pleased to announce the release of GMAT version R2020a. New features in this release include a new 3D graphics engine based on OpenFrames, the first production-quality C++ release of the Collocation Stand-Alone Library and Toolkit (CSALT), a new optimal control subsystem that supports finite-thrust optimization, a new (beta) API developed to provide users low-level access to GMAT functionality and to support interoperability between NASA's GMAT, Copernicus, and MONTE software applications, a new continuous thrust mission design and navigation feature, and a new (alpha) Extended Kalman Filter Smoother with process noise. Asymptote is a powerful descriptive vector graphics language for technical drawing, inspired by MetaPost but with an improved C++-like syntax. Asymptote provides for figures the same high-quality typesetting that LaTeX does for scientific text.

Gpredict is a real-time satellite tracking and orbit prediction application. Gpredict can track an unlimited number of satellites and display the data in tables and various graphical view.

PreviSat is a satellite tracking software for observing purposes. Very easy to use, it shows positions of artificial satellites in real-time or manual mode. PreviSat is able to make predictions of their passes, predictions of MetOp and COSMO-SkyMed flares, ISS transits and several other calculations.

REDUCE is an interactive system for general algebraic computations of interest to mathematicians, scientists and engineers. It can be used interactively for simple calculations but also provides a flexible and expressive user programming language. The development of the REDUCE computer algebra system was started in the 1960s by Anthony C. Hearn. Since then, many scientists from all over the world have contributed to its development. REDUCE has a long and distinguished place in the history of computer algebra systems. Other systems that address some of the same issues but sometimes with rather different emphasis are Axiom, Derive, Macsyma (Maxima), Maple, Mathematica and MuPAD. REDUCE primarily runs on either Portable Standard Lisp (PSL) or Codemist Standard Lisp (CSL), both of which are included in the SourceForge distribution. By modern standards, REDUCE is a surprisingly small and compact application, which runs well on all major operating systems.

Gabedit is a Graphical User Interface for FireFly (PC-Gamess), Gamess-US, Gaussian, Molcas, Molpro, MPQC, NWChem, OpenMopac, Orca, PSI4 and Q-Chem computational chemistry packages.

GeigerLog is a combination of data logger, presenter, and analyzer, and now released as version 1.3 ! Based on Python (Version 3), hence runs on Linux, Windows, Macs, Raspberry Pi, and other. It now also runs on HiDPI screens. GeigerLog can be monitored by SmartPhone; it is WiFi enabled for servers and clients. Initially developed for Geiger counters, it is now a more universal tool, which equally well handles data like temperature, air-pressure, humidity, CO2. Continues to support GQ Electronic's GMC-300/500/600 Geiger counters, RadMon and other IoT devices, Gamma-Scout Geiger counters, audio-clicks producing counters, I2C based sensors. GeigerLog reads data from the devices, saves them to databases, prints to screen and plots as graph of Values vs Time. The graph is auto-updated and can be customized. Quality control using Statistics, Scatter, Poisson Test, FFT & Autocorrelation, and more. New Raspi specific software let it act as a WiFiServer for GeigerLog.

CIF2Cell is a tool to generate the geometrical setup for various electronic structure codes from a CIF (Crystallographic Information Framework) file. The program currently supports output for a number of popular electronic structure programs, including ABINIT, ASE, CASTEP, CP2K, CPMD, CRYSTAL09, Elk, EMTO, Exciting, Fleur, FHI-aims, Hutsepot, MOPAC, Quantum Espresso, RSPt, Siesta, SPR-KKR, VASP. Also exports some related formats like .coo, .cfg and .xyz-files. The program has been published in Computer Physics Communications 182 (2011) 1183–1186. Please cite generously.

ToxTrac is a free Windows program optimized for tracking animals. It uses an advanced tracking algorithm that is robust; very fast; and that can handle one or several animals in one or several environments. The program provides useful statistics as output. This is an implementation of post-process phonon analyzer, which calculates crystal phonon properties from input information calculated by external codes, e.g., first-principles calculation code.

DataMelt (or "DMelt") is an environment for numeric computation, data analysis, computational statistics, and data visualization. This Java multiplatform program is integrated with several scripting languages such as Jython (Python), Groovy, JRuby, BeanShell. DMelt can be used to plot functions and data in 2D and 3D, perform statistical tests, data mining, numeric computations, function minimization, linear algebra, solving systems of linear and differential equations. Linear, non-linear and symbolic regression are also available. Neural networks and various data-manipulation methods are integrated using powerful Java API. Elements of symbolic computations using Octave/Matlab scripting are supported.

GenX is a scientific program to refine x-ray refelcetivity, neutron reflectivity and surface x-ray diffraction data using the differential evolution algorithm. GenX is very modular and highly extensible and can be used as a general fitting program.

JaxoDraw is a tool to generate Feynman diagrams in a mouse click-and-drag fashion. Graphs can be exported to a variety of graphics formats and arbitrary latex code can be used for labels to produce high-quality publishing-style figures.

CMSSW is a collection of software used wherever CMS is needed. CMS is a particle detector that is designed to see a wide range of particles and phenomena produced in high-energy collisions in the LHC. CMSSW has one executable, cmsRun and many plug-in modules.

Madagascar is a software package for geophysical data processing and reproducible numerical experiments. The package mission is to provide a convenient environment for researchers working with digital image and data processing in geophysics and related fields.
