GenX is a scientific program to refine x-ray refelcetivity, neutron reflectivity and surface x-ray diffraction data using the differential evolution algorithm. GenX is very modular and highly extensible and can be used as a general fitting program.

Thank you for continuous maintaining this project. I am working on multi mirror reflection and simulation at synchrotron based techniques to probe interfaces for energy devices. Your generous work helped me a lot to understand and verify my hypothesis. I have shared this to my colleagues and being widely appreciated. One minor issue isgenx.sourceforge.io/doc/ this link is no longer available and seems your latest manual is for version 3.8.9, even though there are identical in terms of functionality. For the community: Elements of modern x ray physics by Jens Als-Nielsen and Des McMorrow chapter 3 could be an extraordinary textbook for understanding the mechanism of this software.
