SDCC is a retargettable, optimizing standard C (ANSI C89 / ISO C90, ISO C99, ISO C11 / C17, ISO C23) compiler that targets a growing list of architectures: STM8, MCS-51, DS390, HC08, S08, Z80, Z180, R800, Rabbit, SM83, eZ80 in Z80 mode, Z80N, TLCS-90, Padauk PDK14 and PDK15 microprocessors. There also is incomplete support for the Microchip PIC16 and PIC18 and the Padauk PDK13 and MOS 6502.

xine is a free multimedia player. It plays back CDs, DVDs, BluRays and VCDs. It also decodes multimedia files like AVI, MOV, WMV, and MP3 from local disk drives, and displays multimedia streamed over the Internet.

GemRB (Game engine made with pre-Rendered Background) is a portable open-source implementation of Bioware's Infinity Engine. xsd2pgschema is a Java application suite, which converts XML Schema 1.1 (hierarchical data model) to PostgreSQL DDL (relational data model) and supports XML data migration into PostgreSQL based on the XML Schema without defects on information content. It also supports full-text indexing via either Apache Lucene or Sphinx Search utilizing the relational data model. File conversion from XML to CSV, TSV, or JSON is possible as well as mapping XML Schema to JSON Schema. Obtained PostgreSQL database can be optimized at user's discretion. Moreover, differential update, and XPath query evaluation over PostgreSQL are possible. PgSchema server, serialized relational data model server, can be used to speed up the analysis of complex XML Schema. Large XML file can be split through xmlsplitter, a flexible XML splitter based on XPath and StAX.

Elixir is a dynamic, functional language for building scalable and maintainable applications. Elixir leverages the Erlang VM, known for running low-latency, distributed, and fault-tolerant systems. Elixir is successfully used in web development, embedded software, data ingestion, and multimedia processing, across a wide range of industries. All Elixir code runs inside lightweight threads of execution (called processes) that are isolated and exchange information via messages. Due to their lightweight nature, it is not uncommon to have hundreds of thousands of processes running concurrently in the same machine. Isolation allows processes to be garbage collected independently, reducing system-wide pauses, and using all machine resources as efficiently as possible (vertical scaling). Processes are also able to communicate with other processes running on different machines in the same network.
