de:Code is a 3rd-person top-down dungeon crawler. The world is procedurally generated using the file structure of the users hard drive. The game will use a mixture of different genres including steampunk, fantasy, mid-evil, and modern. The user will have to travel down 4 main paths each progressively harder than the last and each will have more than one genre conflicting inside. Each main path (connected by a central hub) will get harder as the user progresses down, finally reaching a unique boss at the end. -

This is a top-down third-person shooter type game. The mechanics of it are pretty simple and straight-forward. Graphical wise, it is not as appealing as other projects I have done using a game engine. The YouTube video shows off the main aspects of the game. The sound effects are gotten from royalty free websites. Please note that full-screen currently does not allow for an optimal playing experience. In addition to that, there are other noticeable things that are not fully working correctly. Feedback on the game - preferably the code if you are interested in looking through it - is appreciated. -
