An Introduction to Data Analysis in R [Book] A guide for learning the basic tools on data anaylisis: process, visualize and learn from your data using R programming. This repository holds the necessary data sets for the book "An introduction to Data Analysis in R", to be published by Springer series Use R!. The book can be purchased in XXX. The book is meant as an introductory guide to manipulate data sets in the Big Data paradigm. One of the main goals of this book is to take the analyst from the very first moment when she/he contacts with data to the final conclusion and presentation of results of analysis. We take into account the variety of fields where data analysis occurs nowadays. We pay special attention to the different ways to obtain data and how to make it manageable before starting the analysis. The data analysis includes most of the basic visualization options and some advanced extra options. Finally, basic statistics is used to learn from the processed data.

This project is a package of different algorithms developped for cortical-based functional data analysis.

BigPlg allows the collection of the IPv4 Internet routing table which may be viewed by service providers and/or ISP customers to validate IP routing across autonomous systems. Routing updates may also have attributes aliased to become (graph) readable. This function exists to allow the exporting of RIB updates to Splunk, or any such data collector. A beneficial side-effect of collecting BGP routing information is the ability to track BGP updates/events local or remote(upstream). To analyze events Splunk is supported. A JSON/Socket API is currently under development. Custom graphs can be easily implemented if taken the time to do so. There's certainly no need to rely on Splunk if one developed another way of displaying data. This project is meant to be nothing more than a route collector, and it's interface is solely CLI(command line interface). This project does not have graph data "out of the box".

The Bamformatics project aims to provide a coherent and consistent approach to analysis of high-throughput sequencing data. Its toolkit includes, among others, programs to identify variants and to compute various types genomic tracks. BIRBU (BIological Relationship BUilder) is a Java tool for microarray gene expression data analysis. BIRBU identifies biologically significant relationship between genes using microarray data and prior knowledge on relationships between genes.

BriPy package is a BRIC-seq data analysis tool written in Python. It can calculate RNA half-life for each transcript and draw graphs describing the kinetics of RNA decay. CrimeKgAssitant is a Chinese-language legal NLP project that combines offense prediction, consultation classification, automated answers, and knowledge graph queries. It organizes data around criminal charges, sentencing cases, legal question-and-answer pairs, and related legal information. A multiclass model predicts likely offense categories from written case descriptions using document embeddings and a support vector machine. Separate classifiers sort consultation questions into predefined legal categories before retrieving or generating relevant responses from the prepared knowledge base. The repository includes training scripts, inference programs, dictionaries, models, and utilities for building the question-answer database. Its published experiments use millions of case records and hundreds of thousands of consultation pairs. We developed DMET-Analyzer a tool for the automatic association analysis among the variation of the patient genomes and the clinical conditions of patients, i.e. the different response to drugs. The proposed system allows: (i) to automatize the workflow of analysis of DMET-SNP data avoiding the use of multiple tools; (ii) the automatic annotation of DMET-SNP data and the search in existing databases of SNPs (e.g. dbSNP), (iii) the association of SNP with pathway through the search in PharmaKGB, a major knowledge base for pharmacogenomic studies. DMET-Analyzer has a simple graphical user interface that allows users (doctors/biologists) to upload and analyse DMET files produced by Affymetrix DMET-Console in an interactive way.
