@ Seva Bobroff, please look more into things before giving an input as to what they are. portable apps.com is a great site and the "installers" are not really installers, they are just self extracting archives. When you go through the "install" process all it does is place the folder with the program inside where ever you told it to. It does not actually "install" anything in the manner of which you are speaking. I currently have over 40 portable apps simply because they do not leave reg files (with a few exceptions), they do not add anything to the add/remove programs list, and they leave a light finger print if at all on the host system. As for the launchers, they are great too, but I made my own for launching my apps so I do not use those from the site, but again they are great as well. I recommend this site to EVERYONE who asks about portable apps and where to get them.
