G-SERVE is a file serving BOT for users (of Linux/unix) who wish to share files on IRC. The bot has most of the usual f-serve features (searches using @find, send queues,etc). It runs independently as a daemon, maintaining logs of connections/transfers.

Features include, * Connects to an IRC server with configured nick, joins channel and serves files. * Displays advertisements in channel regularly and responds to !list * Initiates DCC chat with a user when they send the trigger to the channel, allowing them to browse shared files and download them. * Maximum number of simultaneous sends, size of queues, etc is configurable * Supports searching of files using @find * Runs as a daemon and logs all events (like file transfers, chat sessions) to a log-file * Keeps trying to connect/join on errors, rejoins channel if kicked, reconnects if disconnected.
