This product installs some browser additions (Babylon Search, Babylon Toolbar for IE) without prompting the user if that is okay or telling the user (or if the user is being told, it is in the terms of service or other obscure location). Please remove the shit from this project.

MALWARE. My virus scanning program found "installmanager.exe" being installed. I see from other reviewers this is a browser toolbar that you are given no option to otherwise avoid installing. The ACTUAL software seems fine and has a lot of options. I had problems with another distiller making huge file sized PDFs from very tiny source files and this one seems to work well.

BE WARNED: Main installer launches a second one that will install adware (it mentions Bing stuff will be installed). Declining this installation will not prevent the PDFCreator get installed. Other than that, this is a must have for me on every system I use. I'm happy these guys made a GPLed solution to generate PDFs that works so well. It's a shame that they don't clearly tell you anymore about the adware that is being installed. I'm careful to avoid getting that and instead I make direct donations to the project. It's worth them.

Installs a browser toolbar. I didn't see any question or option during the setup. I know the developers have costs and are entitled to recover them, but please don't distribute malware with your product!

The product has engaged in some very questionable practices. Maybe they have reformed their ways a little, but there is still no way they can be trusted.

I like the software but hate that it installed the stupid toolbar, if pdfcreator works as a printer, then why the hell is there a mandatory browser addon that i cant uninstall without uninstalling the program completely.
