Copying the insights from over there:

The PB7 thing is actually fixed, the tests still fail however, because the IEC lines are connected to this port (and are not masked out)

The lines that make the test fail are ATN out, clock out, data out ($1a mask) - see http://unusedino.de/ec64/technical/aay/c1541/via10.htm

That likely means this isn't actually a VIA bug, but a problem with the drive- or IEC bus implementation
