VICE is an emulator collection which emulates the C64, the C128, the VIC20, almost all PET models, the PLUS4 and the CBM-II (aka C610). It runs on Unix, MS-DOS, Win32, OS/2, Acorn RISC OS, BeOS, QNX 6.x, Amiga, GP2X or Mac OS X machines.
It is amazing to see VICE support so many esoteric functions, interfaces, and other homebrew projects without sacrificing on its simply elegant design. And you can go really "old school" with its support for OpenCBM using a real 1541/1571/1581 drive off your parallel port.
It is simply a scrumptious set of delectable emulators which emulate the most fantastic Commodore computers ever to be devised. Exceedingly excellent in every eccentric way they are! Bravo, dear coders, bravo!
The 8-bit CBM emulator to Rule them All. Needs an update soon though.
