[Plone-i18n] Updating modified po-files

Hi,

is there any best practices to handle modified po-files?

What shall I do, if I changed some messages in a po-file according to
my needs via Localizer and now want to update it, because there is a
new version.

Is there any tool which could use to import only new msg-ids or new
translations which I did not alter?
