Hi, I've put together some Zope, CMF and Plone rpm packages, built for Fedora Core, which should still rebuild nicely on most (all?) rpm-based distributions. I currently advise to use them with Fedora Core 2 test1, as it ships with python 2.3.3 by default. I've tested the setup successfully, but there is a known issue : When using "zopectl start", there is a python traceback that I don't really understand, although Zope seems to have started properly. Because of this, and because of the "always 0, even on failure" exit status of zopectl, the init script says it always succeeds even when it's not the case. If anyone knows a correction for this issue, please let me know (a patch to my spec file would be best).
