Greetings dolphin-3 With respect to the events portlet here's what I got: if I want to get the author of an object just use obj/Creator. I believe case does matter. I found a bunch of attributes listing in an XML file. If you are on a windows machine, you can find this xml file at: C:\Program Files\Plone 2\Data\Products\CMFDefault\profiles\default\catalog.xml Hope this helps.
