Logon as the administrator and take a look at the "Manage Configuration" pages. In particular, the "Workflow Transitions". When I first viewed these pages, I was a bit perplexed at how the system worked. After a bit of study and playing around with users on a test project, I learned how to adjust these settings to take better advantage of Mantis. Now I have just one admin account and a couple of managers. Each manager deals with one or more projects and is the client liason. Also I assign developers manager status for specific projects. The developer chosen for this is the project lead. This setting is handled in the project management page. hth, Mark Phillips |
