Hi, I am experiencing some difficulties with file uploads/downloads in Mantis 0.18.3. I'm using Netscape 7.1, and MS IE 6.0. Here is some of the relevant config. config_inc.php $g_allow_file_upload = ON; # Upload destination: specify actual location in project settings # DISK, DATABASE, or FTP. $g_file_upload_method = DATABASE; # Maximum file size that can be uploaded # Also check your PHP settings (default is usually 2MBs) $g_max_file_size = 5000000; # 5 MB /etc/http.d/conf.d/php.conf # # PHP is an HTML-embedded scripting language which attempts to make it # easy for developers to write dynamically generated webpages. # LoadModule php4_module modules/libphp4.so # # Cause the PHP interpreter handle files with a .php extension. # <Files *.php> SetOutputFilter PHP SetInputFilter PHP LimitRequestBody 524288 </Files> /etc/php.ini ; Maximum allowed size for uploaded files. upload_max_filesize = 2M /etc/my.cnf [mysqld] datadir=/var/lib/mysql socket=/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock set-variable = max_allowed_packet=5000000 All files I've tried to upload/download are well within these limits. I can read xls, txt, and pdfs ok in Netscape. In IE only txt files seem to open ok. Using Netscape when I attempt to download a jpg or gif I get: The image "..." cannot be displayed, because it contains errors. Using Netscape, or MS IE, when I try to download MS Word docs: I get a dialog titled File conversion which prompts me to Select the encoding that makes your document readable. None of them do. I've had a look through the Documentation, and issues in the Mantis bugtracker but can't see anything which helps me with this problem. Does anyone have any pointers as to what I can do to be able to upload graphics, and Word docs? Or any type of doc? TIA, Gary Thomson |
