Hello, I like what I see with mantis so far. I need an easy bug tracking system and the setup was a charm. But nothing seems to work. I am trying to run on a hosted account where I do not have shell access, but to shouldn't matter. admin_check.php says everything is OK, all the version are up to date and the DB is fine. I have done some php testing and it seems that the problem is that no POST variables are getting to the action php. When I try to print $f_username from login.php i just get blank. This is not a problem with my PHP setup, as I have made tests and even hacked together a new login.php that performs a successful login. But then when I try to create a new user, the same thing happens, no form variables. One thing that I found what the first time I ran admin_check.php there was an error that g_register_globals was not a declared variable. So i added the following to my core_API.php file: # I know this seems silly, but just trying to be sure ini_set("register_globals", 1); $g_register_globals = ini_get('register_globals'); right at the top. This seemed to fix admin_check.php, but i still can not log in with the un-modified code. I see that there are plenty of other users so it is not a problem with the package, I am just hoping that someone else has had the same problem and can give some suggestions. Any help in getting this to work would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time, Adeh DeSandies |
