Emne: [Mantisbt-lang] Mantis Localisation Mailing List Hi All, =20 We have created this mantisbt-lang mailing list in order to discuss = issues relating to Mantis localisation. We have subscribed email addresses = that were included in the language files. If you do not want to be part of mailing list, please unsubscribe using the link that gets appended to = all mailing list messages. =20 The way this is going to work is as follows: - Development team will work on developing a new release. - Once development is done, the language file will be sync=92d = with the English language. - A message will be posted to this mailing list to ask for = update of localisation files. - If you are going to update a language, please reply to the mailing list saying so. This is to avoid two people updating the same language file. - Development team will do the testing of the release + apply patches (or updated language files) received with updated translation = files. - Development team will then cut the release. =20 The period from announcing that the release is ready and the files needs update, till the actual release should be about 1 week. Hence, it would should aim to get the translations within 3-4 days. This is to allow = for sometime to commit the changes, and do some testing. =20 Hopefully this process will keep Mantis localisation up to date, and = allow us to work efficiently. Please let us know if you have comments / ideas regarding this process or any other issues relating to Mantis = localisation. =20 Regards, Victor. |
