+1 -- master-1.2.x is the only branch that is delivering value to users right now. master is close to being consumable with a bit work. I'm confused about master-2.x and next was a long term branch. We shouldn't resolve a bug unless it is resolved on a branch from which we are actively delivering releases. At the moment, this is master-1.2.x, we can stretch this to master, but not any of the other branches.
