I just made a little change to the remote URL button to improve its behaviour when clicked. I also moved the call of -fixURLs from -windowWillLoad to -windowDidLoad as I was seeing really strange crashed while trying a few things out. I hope that's not a problem. Ideally, I think more should be done: There should be a 'pointing hand' cursor when over the URL (at least in X.3 where this is supported by the OS) I didn't manage to do that though. Who understands cursor rects and their handling? Also, it'd be better to make only the part with the URL itself clickable rather than the whole width of the button (resize?). And it'd be nice to 'shorten' long URLs in the middle rather than at the end but that only works for proper paragraphs as far as I can tell. It seems strange that something as common as displaying a clickable URL should be so tricky. Sven Final remark: According to documentation NSSingleUnderlineStyle is deprecated. |
