Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: ssp (ssssssp) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: FileView not resolving its aliases aggressively enough Initial Comment: Try the following 1. Open a publication in BibDesk 2. Drag a PDF in its attachments list at the right 3. Rename the file in the Finder 4. Double Click the the FileView icon for the PDF file (or flip pages using the tiny arrows). EXPECTED: File opening after the double click / further pages being displayed after clicking the arrows. ACTUAL: Preview opening after the double click but no document being displayed. / Clicking the arrows leading to blank pages. WORKAROUND: Close and re-open the publication window, then try again. To me this looks like the broken path is cached with the FileView icon for too long. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=497423&aid=2737642&group_id=61487 |
