A whole bunch of utilities for primitive manipulation of graphic images. Wide array of converters from one graphics format to another. E.g. from g3 fax format to jpeg. Many basic graphics editing tools such as magnifying and cropping.

GraphicsMagick provides a set of commandline tools and programming APIs for manipulating, editing, and converting raster and vector images. It is derived from ImageMagick, with the objective of providing better stability and performance than ImageMagick while retaining the original MIT/X11 license.

The Sashimi project hosts the Trans-Proteomic Pipeline (TPP), a mature suite of tools for mass-spec (MS, MS/MS) based proteomics: statistical validation, quantitation, visualization, and converters from raw MS data to the open mzML/mzXML formats.

The Linux GPIB Package is a support package for GPIB (IEEE 488.2) hardware. The package contains a development environment consisting of a GPIB library written in C, kernel driver modules, and bindings for several other languages.

This is intended to quickly build or run micro-projects that consist of a single source file (with some optional header files included in to target executable).

It runs on Windows, Linux, and other UNIX operating systems. SAM (Sequence Alignment/Map) is a flexible generic format for storing nucleotide sequence alignment. SAMtools provide efficient utilities on manipulating alignments in the SAM format. The Hamlib project's purpose is to develop flexible and portable shared libraries that offer a standardized API to control any radio oriented equipment through a computer interface.

This is a C library to check the validity of German and Austrian Bank Account Numbers. All currently defined test methods by Deutsche Bundesbank (Dec 2017: 00 to E4) are implemented. Modules for AWK, Perl, PHP, Python, Ruby, C#.net and VB.net are included too. The package includes also an IBAN converter to generate (german) IBANs and BICs from account data. All currently defined IBAN rules by Deutsche Bundesbank are implemented (Dec 2017: 57 rules) and tested against independent solutions.
