Shotbase is a macOS workspace for capturing, editing, organizing, and sharing screenshots, screen recordings, and webpages. It captures areas, windows, or displays, including scrolling screenshots and full-page webpage captures at custom breakpoints in light or dark mode. A still-image editor provides annotations, backgrounds, frames, and shadows; a motion editor adds automatic zooms, text effects, and 3D transformations to recordings. Captures are kept in a searchable library, with optional on-device AI for names, tags, and summaries; AI analysis requires Apple silicon. Captures remain local until users create share links, which open in a browser and support comments and timestamped feedback. Shotbase serves Mac users creating product walkthroughs, tutorials, demonstrations, visual feedback, and other screen-based content.
