Traqq

Pros: For our needs, this is the most cost-effective solution. When we were looking for a time management application, we had the following requirements:
- The client installs seamlessly on Windows 11, macOS, and Ubuntu.
- Minimal client setup after installation and registration.
- Easy client management during operation.
- Ethical operation (both employees and management receive the same data).
- Four levels of management allow flexible customization to suit our tasks.
- Web-based management is intuitive and user-friendly, requiring no additional training.
- We contacted support a couple of times: they quickly resolved our issues and answered additional questions.

Cons: All my laptop applications are in dark mode, but Traqq doesn’t have a dark theme, which is annoying.
I’ve already written to them, but Traqq lacks an automatic tracking shutdown feature at the end of the workday. This is particularly frustrating when I start Netflix after work to watch my favorite series.

Overall: Despite the minor drawbacks, Traqq is an excellent tool for team monitoring and time management. It’s user-friendly, ethical, and highly customizable, making it a great choice for businesses. I hope they introduce a dark theme and automatic tracking shutdown in future updates!

Pros: Really like the reporting features, the dashboard charts make it easy to visualize our data at glance. Also like how there's an option to disable the activity tracking.

Cons: The PTO tracking could use some work and there's no ability to customize the calendar to show national holidays.

Overall: We've been using this with our 30-person team and so far it's been pretty solid. Super easy to get everyone up and running since the interface is intuitive and easy to understand. Has all the standard features you'd need for a smaller company. We use this to track our billable hours for client billing. Support team is responsive whenever we hit any snags.

Pros: I love the reminders to start tracking, as I usually just open my computer and start working. This way, I lose a couple of minutes of tracking at worst, instead of hours. The timeline and reports are great - I can see where I spend most of my time (the apps and websites I use) so it gives me control over my work. I use it to create detailed daily reports for my work, and the breakdowns help me justify what exactly I did in a given time period to my clients. The design is really intuitive, so I don't ever need to resort to any complicated documentation to figure out what I need to press and where.

Cons: It would be great if there was a mobile app for it, so I could track my phone app usage. The site could also benefit from having an online chat for troubleshooting, though I haven't really had to resort to contacting support as of writing this.

Overall: All in all, a great tool. I don't go a day without using it and can easily implement it in all of my projects. It's an inseparable part of my workflow and I look forward to seeing what kind of features get added as the tool's development progresses. I highly recommend it, even if to just try out the freemium plan.

The offline time tracking feature is also really useful when the connection is acting up (I’ve never had any issues with syncing once the connection is restored).

Pros: Been using this for our small team for the past 6 months and it's been pretty solid. Traqq is surprisingly lightweight, I like how it doesn't hog system resources. The reports are easy to export which saves me time, and daily use is pretty straightforward. Pretty good bang for your buck when it comes to features. Had no issues reaching out to support, their rep, David always responds pretty quickly. He mentioned they're working on AI analytics and some other new stuff, which should be releasing within a month or two.

Cons: Would be nice to see more integrations, especially with Quickbooks, that would make our billing process even smoother. The interface is pretty basic, but it gets the job done. Looking forward to those new features they're working on.

Overall: I'd recommend this software for those who don't wanna spend too much money and get a good deal on features. For someone with smaller team that don't have too many reporting systems running because this has pretty much everything. We use this religiously to generate reports which is a life saver when it comes to billing clients.

Considering the features, the pricing is reasonable. There's even a free version for teams up to 3 members, which is a nice touch

AI insights and recommendations are quite helpful. Not sure how it detects the employees which are about to burn out, but it helped me to save my team member at least once
